Candescent is a fintech company building intelligent banking solutions that unify digital banking, account opening, and branch delivery for financial institutions. This role is a senior business analyst within the Professional Services organization, responsible for translating complex banking customer acquisition requirements into product specifications and user stories.
You will serve as the primary bridge between financial institution clients and Candescent's technology team. Key responsibilities include: eliciting and documenting detailed requirements from banking clients, converting business needs into user stories and functional specifications, leading discovery sessions to understand customer acquisition workflows, translating integration requirements into actionable technical briefs, and collaborating with QA to design test scenarios and validate solutions.
You'll work within an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, grooming, and reviews with both internal teams and clients. The role requires close partnership with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure client requirements are accurately captured and implemented. Travel to client sites for requirements gathering, UAT, and implementation activities is expected.
This is ideal for a seasoned banking professional with deep expertise in customer acquisition, account opening, and digital onboarding processes. You should have hands-on experience with core banking systems (FIS, Temenos, Fiserv, Jack Henry, Lending 360) and understand how digital banking platforms integrate with legacy infrastructure. Strong communication skills, ability to translate between business and technical stakeholders, and comfort with Agile methodologies are essential.
