WelbeHealth is a value-based healthcare organization transforming senior care through PACE (Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model delivery. The Provider Network Management Senior Associate is a hybrid, field-based role responsible for the complete lifecycle of provider relationships—from pipeline development through ongoing performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, research, and build a robust pipeline of potential provider partners within assigned Newark-area geographies to support expansion goals
- Execute outreach strategies to prospective providers, serving as primary advocate for the PACE model and its benefits to participants
- Lead contracting processes with prospective providers, partnering with the Network Strategy team to ensure organizational alignment
- Support the Network Strategy Manager in contracting with larger health systems, specialists, and facilities
- Guide partners through initial training on plan policies and technology platforms (e.g., Provider Portal) and ongoing engagement
- Establish strong, trusted relationships with contracted partners; lead Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction
- Build collaborative relationships across Clinical Operations, Utilization Management, Claims, and PACE center leadership to ensure seamless communication and workflow integration
The role combines field-based relationship management with strategic network growth, requiring direct work with providers and health systems while partnering cross-functionally to improve access, performance, and provider experience. Workdays and schedules may fluctuate based on provider needs and field activities. The successful candidate must be based in Newark, NJ, or within reasonable commuting distance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field required; professional experience may be substituted
- Minimum 5 years of experience in provider relations field work; managed care organization experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service to providers or partners
- Proven experience building trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders and delivering service-centric experiences
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
