Salary: USD 72,250 - 106,250 / annual
Panorama Education is seeking a Proposal Manager to join the Revenue team and lead the end-to-end RFP (Request for Proposal) response process. The company responds to 50–60 RFPs annually from school districts and state education agencies, with plans to scale this volume significantly.
In this role, you will own the proposal writing and knowledge management function alongside the RFP team. You'll analyze incoming RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to assess required products, effort level, stakeholder involvement, and company requirements. You'll manage complex, time-sensitive projects with multiple stakeholders, coordinating cross-functional input from Client Success, Engineering, Operations, Product, and Research teams to craft compelling, accurate responses.
Key responsibilities include:
- Co-owning content writing and knowledge management for RFP responses
- Managing complex projects with tight timelines and multiple stakeholders
- Partnering cross-functionally to develop winning proposals
- Ensuring accurate compilation, printing, binding, and timely delivery of final proposals
- Coordinating RFP follow-up and preparation for product demonstrations to districts and agencies
- Building scalable processes and knowledge management systems (RFP content library, documentation, collateral) to increase response speed and quality
- Supporting the Outreach team with sales collateral content as needed
- Managing compliance forms and vendor questionnaires
You'll work in a fast-paced environment where proposals often have tight deadlines and you may manage multiple concurrent RFPs. The role offers the opportunity to directly impact education outcomes across districts and states.
**Requirements:**
- 3–5 years of experience writing technical proposals and managing end-to-end RFP processes
- Strong writing ability with a passion for technical writing
- Excellent collaboration and project management skills
- Ability to communicate key information effectively at both headline and detail levels
- Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and copyediting skills
- Ability to write persuasively about technical and business products and services
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines (including occasional extra hours)
- Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously
