Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology, including AI-powered systems, autonomy, computer vision, and sensor fusion. The Manufacturing Team is responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge defense hardware, including static equipment, ground vehicles, and flight vehicles.
As a Project Manager in Manufacturing, you will manage a wide range of projects across manufacturing engineering, operations, and development. Your responsibilities include defining project scope, creating schedules, managing costs, and ensuring adequate staffing and tools. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineering, design engineering, industrial engineering, and facilities to gather requirements, provide updates, manage expectations, and address concerns.
Key responsibilities include:
**Project Planning and Execution**: Define scope and manage all phases from conception to completion across shifting manufacturing and production projects. Develop and manage project costs. Lead initiatives across Anduril sites to solve production issues and set up new processes. Translate technical discussions into concrete action items, owners, and timelines.
**Program Oversight and Support**: Support program managers and manufacturing leadership in critical technical and business forums. Provide structure to ambiguity and drive stakeholders toward decisions. Develop strategies to drive business impact and own manufacturing KPI tracking to enhance transparency.
**Data Analysis and Reporting**: Execute analyses on short timelines to identify trends and areas for improvement in manufacturing processes. Facilitate data-driven decision-making by providing timely and accurate manufacturing information.
**Systems and Processes Improvement**: Develop understanding of manufacturing systems (ERP, MRP, MES, PLM) and leverage data for insights. Analyze best practices and standardize implementation across teams. Assist in documentation and standardization of procedures. Collaborate with digital tools teams to evaluate efficiency solutions.
You should be comfortable with manufacturing processes and able to translate technical discussions into clear action items. Deep technical manufacturing expertise is not required, but familiarity with how things are built and ability to hold your own in technical conversations will help you succeed. You'll thrive in fast-paced, technical environments and excel at juggling multiple responsibilities.
