The Directed Content Team generates thousands of expert interview calls quarterly, building AlphaSense's Expert Transcript Library (ETL) with high-value, strategic content. As Project Manager for Directed Content in Technology, Media & Telecoms, you will report to the Sector Lead and serve as a process and project management leader within this engine.
You will define research scope and angles for Directed Content projects, guiding a team of Analysts. You'll leverage Director of Research insights, Client Contributor feedback, user engagement data, and the AlphaSense platform to identify which expert profiles are most relevant to client interests. You'll manage day-to-day Analyst productivity, coach sourcing strategies, and ensure high-quality results.
Key responsibilities include: owning the Technology, Media & Telecoms sector by staying ahead of industry trends, companies, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments; launching and managing research projects aligned to client demand and market dynamics; defining research angles, expert criteria, and vetting questions; reviewing and approving expert profiles; and leading pod performance to deliver comprehensive ETL coverage.
You are a client-focused strategic thinker with deep expertise in Technology, Media & Telecoms markets. You're research-driven, comfortable with tools like AlphaSense and Tableau, and excel at connecting client challenges with industry trends to identify the right experts. You're highly organized, proactive, efficiency-minded, and thrive in cross-functional environments, building strong relationships with Directors of Research, Client Contributors, and other stakeholders.
