Willow is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead new product development for its consumer maternal care product line. The role requires collaboration and coordination across industrial design, engineering, marketing, supply chain, and customer experience to bring innovative products to market that address the real needs of mothers.
Key responsibilities include managing complex cross-functional consumer product programs from concept through retail and direct-to-consumer launch. You will collaborate with industrial design, engineering, marketing, and supply chain teams to define product requirements, set priorities, and establish scope, budget, and timelines. The role involves acting as a force-multiplier for functional leads by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while proactively removing obstacles to progress.
You will partner closely with marketing and customer insights teams to incorporate voice-of-customer feedback from mothers throughout the development process. Coordination of packaging, retail, and DTC launch readiness activities is essential, including managing go-to-market timelines and facilitating cross-functional launch reviews. The position requires developing recommendations, gaining alignment, and proactively facilitating decision-making across engineering, marketing, and operations stakeholders.
Supplier and contract manufacturer relationship management is also part of the role, working in partnership with supply chain to ensure on-time, on-quality delivery.
Required qualifications include 6+ years of experience with at least 3+ years in project or program management in consumer products or consumer electronics. You should have experience bringing consumer hardware or CPG products through the full lifecycle from concept to retail/DTC launch and sustaining. Strong familiarity with project management software tools (SmartSheet, JIRA/Atlassian) and methodologies is expected. Excellent communication skills, strong ownership mentality, and an agile project management approach are essential. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, and PMP or PgMP certification is a plus.
