Voyager Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to join its Program Management department, reporting to the VP of Project & Mission Management. This hybrid role is based in Webster, TX and focuses on planning and executing space, defense, and national security projects from concept through completion. Key responsibilities include developing and overseeing project scope, schedule, and budget; providing detailed status reporting to stakeholders and executive leadership; managing scope creep and change requests; leading cross-functional teams to drive desired outcomes; establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships; supporting comprehensive project proposals; overseeing external supplier relationships; and capturing lessons learned to foster continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, chemical engineering, physics, materials science, computer science/engineering, mathematics, or business. A master's degree in a related field is preferred. You should have 1-3 years of experience leading projects across full project lifecycles, with familiarity with common project management frameworks, tools, and software. Required skills include strong cross-functional team leadership and people management abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, and the ability to follow company-defined project management processes and best practices. You must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance. Preferred qualifications include a PMP credential and experience working with government and commercial aerospace customers, with familiarity with launch vehicles and/or payload development. The role involves travel up to 30% and is primarily sedentary work.
