Salary: GBP 70,000 - 80,000 / annual
Sona is an AI-native workforce management platform serving frontline organizations (restaurants, hospitals, schools, airlines, emergency services) across the UK and US. The company has raised over $100M and operates offices in London, New York, Austin, and Lisbon.
As a Project Manager, you will lead the coordination and delivery of enterprise software implementations for Sona's customers. You'll manage an Implementation Pod consisting of a Solutions Architect and Solutions Specialist, owning a portfolio of enterprise implementations across Sona's product suite (HR, Scheduling, Payroll, LMS, ATS).
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end project delivery on time, within scope and budget, maintaining quality standards
- Managing project risks, dependencies, and scope changes with clear stakeholder communication
- Serving as the primary customer advocate, building strong relationships and managing expectations
- Coordinating internal teams, vendors, and customers for successful outcomes
- Producing clear documentation and status reports, escalating risks as needed
- Supporting the Land and Expand strategy by driving customer partnerships and early value realization
- Continuously improving project processes and tools
You'll work closely with senior customer stakeholders and internal teams across Commercial, Product, and Customer functions. The role requires thriving in a fast-evolving environment with strong advocacy for clarity and communication.
Required qualifications: proven success delivering enterprise software implementations on time and within budget; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills including C-level engagement; strong leadership and collaboration abilities; strategic thinking with risk management expertise; calm and organized under pressure; ability to present and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Bonus experience includes workforce management/HR software and frontline industry knowledge.
