Snowflake is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex, fixed-fee technical implementations for enterprise customers. In this role, you'll function as the "CEO of the Project," taking full accountability for delivery governance across AI/ML and Lakehouse implementations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing high-stakes, fixed-fee implementations with rigorous financial and schedule governance
- Creating detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and applying Critical Path Methodology (CPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM) for risk forecasting
- Coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning key stakeholders outside your immediate area to ensure successful delivery
- Presenting lessons-learned sessions to regional teams to optimize future pre-sales and scoping activities
- Supporting pre-sales efforts by identifying upsell opportunities and contributing to service scoping
- Demonstrating high situational awareness and providing value-based trade-off options when scope adjustments are needed
This role represents a strategic shift from tactical task management to managing broader organizational outcomes and high-visibility implementations for major enterprise accounts.
Required qualifications:
- 2–5 years of field experience in services delivery or technical implementation
- 5–8 years of related experience in technical project management
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Smartsheet/Project modeling and ability to query Snowflake metadata
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Demonstrated expertise in EVM and CPM
- SnowPro Core certification (required); PMP preferred
- Data engineering experience is a strong plus
