Alpaca is a US-headquartered global leader in agent-first brokerage infrastructure, serving hundreds of financial institutions across 40+ countries with institutional-grade APIs for stocks, ETFs, options, crypto, and fixed income trading. The company is backed by $400M in funding from top-tier investors including Spark Capital, Tribe Capital, and Y Combinator, and operates a globally distributed team of 400+ members.
As a Project Manager, you will own end-to-end project management for enterprise partner launches using Alpaca's brokerage APIs. You'll be the primary point of contact and internal advocate for enterprise customers, coordinating integrations from conception through launch. Your responsibilities include scoping and planning integration timelines with external stakeholders, collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, compliance, legal, and operations teams to resolve issues and align resources, and facilitating weekly partner check-ins to drive action items and track progress.
You will manage project status reporting, risks, and dependencies for both internal leadership and partner stakeholders. Key duties include helping partners navigate onboarding requirements (KYC, AML, regulatory disclosures), documenting processes, and continuously improving onboarding frameworks to scale future integrations. You'll establish yourself as a subject matter expert on Alpaca's API, communicate feature requests to technical teams, and create internal and external resources for partners and teams.
The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of enterprise-level business project management experience with strong process, analysis, design, and documentation skills. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese to serve clients in Hong Kong and Seoul. Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and flexibility to work across time zones are essential. Familiarity with fintech, financial markets, and investing applications is required.
