Vizzia is a French post-Series B scale-up specializing in camera and monitoring solutions for local authorities. The company operates across France, Belgium, Switzerland, and is now expanding into the UK market with initial council clients already signed and go-lives delivered. As Project Engineer, you will lead end-to-end delivery of hardware installations across UK council sites, reporting to the Head of Operations. This is a hands-on role combining field operations, project management, and technical coordination. Key responsibilities include: **Project Delivery & PMO** - Lead complete rollout of installations from kick-off through handover across multiple council sites - Oversee configuration and commissioning of camera units to meet client specifications - Conduct site surveys to validate camera types and installation locations - Produce execution packs for installers (both HQ and local partners) **Partner & Client Management** - Train and certify installation partners on deployment and maintenance procedures - Act as primary interface between installation partners and HQ, coordinating schedules and escalations - Serve as named technical point of contact for councils, triaging and resolving issues within SLAs - Challenge installation approaches to ensure Vizzia standards are met - Manage spares and replacements to minimize downtime **Operations & Reporting** - Produce regular progress reports and updates for management - Manage stock levels and maintain accurate project records - Build relationships with HQ, external partners, and council clients - Travel regularly across the UK to support field operations This is positioned as a builder role—you'll be the first Project Engineer in the UK market with opportunity to expand scope, influence partner strategy, and potentially build a team as the operation scales. **Requirements** - Minimum 5 years experience in technical delivery or field operations of CCTV systems - Ideally experience in council, public sector, or similarly complex environments - Track record deploying and commissioning hardware or camera systems - Understanding of electrical systems, outdoor installations, and pole/camera fixings (bonus) - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong communication skills, comfortable explaining technical issues - Organized, proactive, independent work style - Full working proficiency in English - Valid UK driving licence (required for site travel) - Bonus: EV charging infrastructure experience or UK local authority/public sector/B2G background
