Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Program Security Manager to provide embedded security support to classified defense programs. The role is based in Costa Mesa, California, and reports to the Security Team, which serves as the cornerstone of defense operations by employing advanced security measures and technology to protect people, assets, operations, and innovations.
In this position, you will provide dedicated security support on assigned classified contracts, managing both personnel and physical security initiatives for program personnel, spaces, and activities. You will ensure compliance with federal security regulations including 32 CFR Part 117, DoDM 5205.07, ICD-705, and customer-specific security requirements outlined in DD-254s. Working collaboratively with the Contractor Program Manager, you will identify security-related issues that potentially impact business operations and advise on mitigation strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing comprehensive security programs encompassing multiple security disciplines
- Preparing security plans, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), and Transportation Security Plans for classified material movement and storage
- Developing and delivering Transportation Security Plans in coordination with government customers and program teams
- Reporting and investigating security incidents specific to assigned programs and recommending mitigations to program and security leadership
- Developing, implementing, and administering Operational Security (OPSEC) and Program Protection planning requirements
- Interpreting Security Classification Guidance (SCG) for assigned programs
- Conducting security briefings and debriefings, clearly explaining security processes and procedures to all stakeholders
This is a self-motivated role requiring the ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, quickly establish trust with program teams, and leverage expertise in US government security policies and procedures as they relate to Industrial & Special Programs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma and seven years of industrial security-related experience
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills with ability to achieve goals while handling multiple tasks
- Experience conducting security briefings, debriefings, and clearly explaining security processes and procedures
- Experience implementing multiple security disciplines including Personnel, Physical, and Operations Security program requirements
- Ability to communicate and interact professionally and courteously both orally and in writing with all levels of employees, management, and customers
- Must possess a current U.S. Top Secret security clearance
