REGENT is developing Seagliders, a new category of wing-in-ground-effect coastal transportation vehicles capable of 180 mph with 180-mile range on current battery technology. As Program Manager for Viceroy (the flagship Seaglider program), you will own end-to-end program execution—schedule, budget, risk management, and cross-functional coordination—from design through production.
You will serve as PM of record, partnering directly with the Chief Engineer in a deliberate split of authority: the CE owns the technical baseline; you own delivery. Together with the VP of Programs, you will drive Viceroy through major design gates (PDR, CDR) and into build and test phases.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining an integrated master schedule with mapped dependencies and active critical-path management; running a living risk and issue process that forces early decisions; aligning Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Certification behind one credible plan; and delivering honest program status reporting to leadership on what's on track, at risk, and what decisions are needed.
You will build a program team around you, developing PMO teammates into owners of their own scope. Success means Viceroy operates on a credible, controlled baseline that every functional lead understands and leadership trusts, hitting gates without heroics.
Required experience includes deep expertise managing complex hardware development programs as PM of record through PDR/CDR or equivalent gates; demonstrated ability to build and maintain integrated master schedules with managed critical paths; track record running risk processes that changed outcomes (funded mitigations, descoped content, moved dates); proven matrix leadership of functional teams without direct authority; familiarity with certification/qualification processes (FAA, EASA, USCG, class societies, military airworthiness); and technical fluency to interrogate engineering estimates, dependencies, and test logic across structures, propulsion, and systems.
