Perception Point seeks a Program Manager for Professional Services to lead the successful delivery of complex IT security projects in the UAE region. You will manage virtual teams comprising customer contacts, sales representatives, professional services engineers, and technical support staff to ensure technically sound, financially profitable, and supportable implementations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing customer relationships and stakeholder coordination across all levels
- Identifying resource needs and building appropriate project teams with the resource manager
- Coordinating with Fortinet's customer-facing functions (sales, operations, order management, support) to align project delivery activities
- Managing internal Professional Services resources and third-party vendors for flawless execution
- Ensuring on-time, on-scope, and on-budget project delivery
- Managing scope, schedule, and cost changes through structured verification techniques
- Measuring project performance using appropriate systems and tools
- Reporting and escalating to management as needed
- Managing escalations internally and externally to resolve challenges
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
- Applying Fortinet's methodology and enforcing project standards
- Performing risk management to minimize exposure
- Determining revenue recognition, ensuring timely invoicing, and monitoring receivables
- Forecasting revenue and monitoring project profitability
- Ensuring project legal documents are completed and signed
- Facilitating effective team and client meetings
- Communicating difficult or sensitive information tactfully
Requirements:
- Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar program or project management role
- Technical understanding of security, cloud, and networking projects
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
- Outstanding negotiation, oral communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent written communication skills (courtesy, precision, conciseness, clarity)
- Strong conflict resolution capabilities
- Experience working with global enterprise, MSSP, carrier, and governmental customers
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team environments
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines
- Ability to respond promptly and efficiently to project adjustments
- Flexibility during organizational change
- Strong ability to elicit cooperation from diverse sources (upper management, clients, departments)
- Self-driven with strong commitment to excellence
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or management discipline, or equivalent extensive work-related experience
- PMP and/or PRINCE II certification preferred
