BrainPOP, a leading digital learning platform trusted by educators and parents worldwide, is seeking a Program Manager for People Programs to support its Chief People Officer and broader People team. The company reaches an estimated 25 million students annually across two-thirds of U.S. school districts and was acquired by KIRKBI (the LEGO family investment company) in 2022. In this highly visible role, you will own the planning, execution, and communication of critical People team programs and initiatives with significant business impact. You will serve as a strategic operator and trusted advisor, collaborating with executives and cross-functional partners to drive People strategy and vision across the organization. Key responsibilities include: owning cyclical People programs (performance management, talent reviews, engagement surveys, systems optimization); managing the overall People program calendar and project tracking; leading the People Team AI Enablement strategy to scale AI as a capability multiplier; developing and executing strategic internal communications campaigns aligned to people initiatives; crafting the narrative of the People roadmap for employee understanding; conducting post-project evaluations and applying learnings; providing guidance on project scoping and delivery best practices; preparing Board and Executive Team presentations with clear data representation; managing team operations calendars and identifying optimization opportunities; supporting CPO in budget management; and leading additional key projects as assigned. You bring HR/People Operations practitioner experience with subject matter knowledge of performance management, engagement surveys, talent management, compensation, and HR systems management. You combine HR expertise with analytical aptitude, executive presence, and proven ability to lead complex projects from conception to completion. You are a strategic thinker who executes tactically, AI-forward and comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, able to navigate ambiguity and adapt to change, skilled at establishing trust and cultivating partnerships across constituencies, proactive in identifying problems and taking autonomous action, logical and thoughtful with strong judgment and discretion, and an excellent communicator who can explain business concepts to all audience levels. The role is hybrid, based in NYC headquarters with an expectation to be in office an average of 2-3 days per week (typically Tuesday-Thursday).
