Salary: USD 98,000 - 130,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to join the Autonomous Airpower (AA) business line in Costa Mesa, California. This role owns the financial health of one or more AA contracts end-to-end, partnering daily with Program Managers, Engineering Leads, and the Finance/Accounting organization. Key responsibilities include: - Own contract-level financial management across assigned AA programs, including monthly Estimate at Completion (EAC) / Estimate to Complete (ETC) development and cost/schedule variance analysis - Maintain contract budget baselines in Deltek Cobra, including work package setup, Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled (BCWS) phasing, baseline change control, and monthly status reporting - Partner with Program Managers and Engineering Leads to build and challenge bottoms-up forecasts for remaining work (labor hours, materials, subcontracts, Other Direct Costs) - Prepare monthly program financial reviews, including profit margin surveillance, actuals-to-forecast variance explanation, and funding/billing position analysis - Reconcile monthly billings to cost performance; support unbilled accounts receivable and revenue recognition inputs - Track and analyze unit cost trends versus forecast, surfacing drivers to program and engineering leadership - Support pricing, proposals, and rough order of magnitude estimates for contract modifications and follow-on work - Build and maintain reporting in Oracle, Anaplan, and Foundry to automate recurring program financial deliverables - Contribute to long-range planning and annual operating plan for the AA business line - Drive continuous improvement in program controls tools, templates, and procedures The role sits at the intersection of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Program Controls, requiring comfort with both technical tools (Deltek Cobra, Oracle, Work Breakdown Structure) and analytical platforms (Excel, Anaplan). You will defend financial analysis to program leadership and translate program execution risk into financial impact.
