AEVEX is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to manage the Internal Research & Development (IR&D) program and oversee financial performance across defense and aerospace projects. The role is responsible for day-to-day program finance management, including monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual financial forecasting; earned value management (EVM) metrics and variance analysis; budget tracking and expenditure monitoring; and preparation of detailed financial reports for senior leadership. Key responsibilities include: managing the IR&D selection process and project data repository; preparing and analyzing program-level earned value and financial performance reports; monitoring program expenditures and identifying issues, concerns, and trends; coordinating with cross-functional teams including program management, finance, scheduling, and contracts; supporting agile program management initiatives; and communicating performance metrics to leadership teams. The analyst will work closely with program and financial management personnel to ensure alignment with company processes, manage budget targets and schedule milestones, and support Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) compliance, including IR&D regulations. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience (or 1 year with a Master's degree); proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Jira, and/or Tableau; demonstrated financial and analytical skills; and deep knowledge of at least one pillar of business management (Finance, Scheduling, Contracts, or Pricing/Estimating). Candidates must be U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD security clearance. Experience with program finance, budget management, FAR/DFAR regulations, and agile program management is essential.
