Anduril Industries is seeking a Program Director to lead one of the company's largest development programs within the Air Dominance and Strike Division. This role sits at the intersection of technical leadership and program execution, partnering closely with the Chief Engineer to oversee the development and integration of advanced autonomous weapons systems, collaborative combat aircraft, and supporting software from early R&D through contract capture and delivery.
You will own all aspects of program success—cost, schedule, resource allocation, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong relationships with Department of Defense customers, ensuring rapid feedback loops and iterative solution development. You'll autonomously manage broad, ambiguous requirements across multiple concurrent programs, making strategic tradeoffs to deliver best-in-class solutions on time and on budget.
The role demands a systems-engineering mindset to assess technical concepts, identify dependencies and risks, and understand architectural implications. You'll develop lightweight processes, tools, and metrics for program planning, scope management, risk management, and customer communication that enable Anduril to move at speed. You'll be a trusted advisor to engineering teams, fostering a high-performance culture, identifying team capability gaps, and collaborating with finance and business development on novel pricing strategies for proposals.
Success requires execution focus—digging into details, charting paths, and owning outcomes. You'll leverage technical aptitude combined with program management and leadership skills. The position involves strategic collaboration with senior management to develop and refine the R&D investment roadmap for Air Dominance and Strike capabilities.
