Anduril Industries is seeking a Program Chief Engineer to lead the Air Defense program, a critical initiative delivering autonomous systems for modern military air defense. This role bridges engineering, field operations, and external clients to deliver groundbreaking defense technology.
You will own an Air Defense program end-to-end, from understanding operational gaps and client needs to driving technical execution and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:
**Stakeholder Engagement**: Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external clients, and industry partners. Act as the primary technical liaison, advocate for client needs within engineering, and ensure feedback shapes the product roadmap. Communicate software releases, new capabilities, and performance improvements.
**Technical Ownership**: Drive technical outcomes through deep system performance understanding. Own the technical narrative from product delivery through continuous improvements. Credibly represent systems to technical and non-technical audiences.
**Tactical Execution**: Clarify the path from engineering development to operational delivery. Guide sprint planning, support test events, attack blockers, and lead fast-paced execution to deliver optimal outcomes.
**Strategic Planning**: Translate business goals and program requirements into actionable plans with clear milestones. Oversee personnel, budget, and resource allocation. Lead with data when possible.
**Autonomous Execution**: Execute on broad, ambiguous client requirements. Shape requirements in favor of optimal products. Demonstrate high ownership and become a trusted partner to engineers.
**Cross-Team Collaboration**: Manage, unblock, and accelerate cross-team projects spanning multiple initiatives.
