Salary: USD 77,050 - 95,000 / annual
Imagine Learning is seeking a Professional Learning Designer to develop and deliver world-class professional development for K–12 educators and school districts. This role sits within the Professional Learning & Development (PL&D) department, which supports change management, builds content and product expertise, maintains customer feedback loops, and drives renewal sales.
You will create and refine professional learning training that ensures participants achieve learning outcomes. You'll demonstrate subject matter expertise in learning design and delivery, collaborating with internal and external experts to identify best practices and develop tailored solutions including case-based workshops, lesson demonstrations, educator coaching, and on-demand resources. Working in iterative sprint cycles with cross-functional teams, you'll plan, develop, and refine content while adapting to real-time feedback. You'll build trust with teachers, staff, and district leaders by delivering organized, exceptional professional development and supporting partner success through process development aligned with business goals.
The role includes up to 30% travel to deliver professional development sessions to schools and districts. You'll report to the Director of Professional Learning Design and Certification.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in education or relevant field, plus at least 10+ years of experience developing, delivering, and improving meaningful professional learning experiences (or acceptable combination of education and experience)
- Master's degree in education, Educational Technology, or relevant field (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience with customer relations management (CRM) systems
- Understanding of agile development practices
- Knowledge of industry-accepted best practices and tools
- Strong multi-tasking, project management, and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Ability to articulate instructional and technical concepts with clarity
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Proficient in writing for adult learners
- Deep knowledge of pedagogical best practices, state standards, and subject-area shifts
- Experience with Imagine Learning products (preferred)
