Saronic Technologies, a leader in autonomous surface vessels for maritime defense, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee shift operations at our Franklin, LA facility.
You will manage a team of production personnel, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity across all manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities include:
• Lead and manage direct reports, conducting performance evaluations and making personnel recommendations (transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions) in accordance with company policies
• Oversee all shift operations, including safety, quality control, housekeeping, training, and labor utilization
• Attend and conduct all production and safety meetings, ensuring compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) policies and quality management systems
• Review and authorize time records and maintain administrative documentation (timecards, foreman reports, safety records)
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications to understand project requirements
• Manage machine utilization to meet or exceed efficiency goals; recommend or direct personnel, maintenance, or engineering changes as needed
• Resolve production and quality issues independently and provide shift documentation for compliance and continuous improvement
• Ensure proper operation of tools and equipment by direct reports
• Conduct personnel training and development in safety, security, quality, and company procedures
• Work aloft (on scaffolds/manlifts) and in confined spaces as required; ensure all employees follow proper PPE and safety protocols
• Collaborate with other supervisors to maintain seamless production line integration and vessel construction timelines
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and represent Saronic professionally
On-site training is provided. The role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, independent judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced shipyard environment.
