Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Production Program Manager to lead manufacturing operations for its Space Manufacturing team. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and measuring the seamless execution and integration of production work streams across multiple concurrent space vehicle product lines.
You will serve as a program leader overseeing assembly, integration, and test (AIT) operations while coordinating across manufacturing engineering, supply chain, quality, test operations, and design engineering. Key responsibilities include owning the integrated manufacturing and AIT schedule across multiple product lines, building and maintaining it as the schedule of record, and running critical path and execution-risk analyses that inform leadership decisions.
You will drive week-to-week execution against schedule by convening cross-functional cadences, holding owners accountable to dates, surfacing slips early with quantified impact, and driving recovery plans proactively. You'll define, deploy, and monitor manufacturing KPIs from New Product Introduction through full rate production per Anduril's Manufacturing Development Process, and build gate-readiness and critical-path reporting that leadership acts on.
Additional responsibilities include building and maintaining the production cost model with Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Finance; serving as the manufacturing and AIT counterpart to program managers and chief engineers with delegated authority to conduct gates; owning manufacturing and AIT risk through risk register maintenance and mitigation; and representing production internally and externally through proposal content, milestone reviews, and customer/leadership briefings.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline; 8+ years in program, project, or production management in aerospace, space, defense, or complex hardware industries; 3+ years owning schedule and execution for a hardware program; active U.S. Secret security clearance (must be maintainable). Preferred: active U.S. Top Secret clearance; personal ownership of integrated master schedules with network-level fluency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
