Relativity Space is building Terran R, a commercial launch vehicle designed to deliver payloads to orbit. The Production Planner will join the Production Control Team, a mission-critical group responsible for planning and scheduling the entire product lifecycle from component manufacturing through full-stage vehicle integration.
In this role, you will own and drive planning deliverables tied to production execution, schedule transparency, and build readiness. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining integrated production schedules spanning raw material through final assembly; identifying and mitigating risks related to part shortages, late drawing releases, process planning gaps, and supply constraints; actively managing Clear to Build processes and shortage resolution; and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and production teams to ensure alignment to build milestones.
You will support the development of scalable and automated planning solutions that drive efficiency, repeatability, and transparency across the build lifecycle. This includes continuously improving planning tools, reporting, and communication methods to enhance visibility and enable rapid decision-making. The Production Control Team works closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization and thrives in a dynamic environment where adaptability, ownership, and curiosity are essential.
This is an opportunity to play a core role in transforming Relativity's manufacturing operation into a high-output, rate-based system while helping define scalable processes that support production rate acceleration. You'll work on problems that haven't been solved before and see your impact directly in the development of cutting-edge aerospace technology.
