Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Product Quality Engineer to define, develop, and execute quality processes for its Bolt and auxiliary accessory drone products. This role sits at the intersection of product development, manufacturing, and field reliability, with responsibility for ensuring high-quality, reliable systems across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Test engineering teams to drive product development and production for quad-copter drones. Key responsibilities include supporting design reviews and work instructions, developing manufacturing processes, managing inspection and acceptance testing, establishing end-of-line metrics, and leading verification and validation activities for processes, parts, sub-assemblies, and complete vehicles. You will own the quality plan and drive clarity on product maturity, process stability, and field performance issues that impact volume production goals. This includes leading Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities, managing product health data analysis, and establishing metrics that predict quality performance. You will champion the transition from new product introduction (NPI) to sustainable, high-rate manufacturing and manage Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) disposition decisions. A significant aspect of this role involves government compliance: you will provide product ownership for Government Source Inspections (GSI), Government Mandatory Inspection Points (GMIP), and DCMA Process Evaluations, coordinating with internal partners, DCMA Quality Assurance Specialists, and logistics teams through delivery. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in manufacturing, product development, test/system performance criteria, metrology, and continuous improvement—ideally with drones or aerial vehicles. You should be comfortable working both inside and outside the organization, accountable for results, and passionate about building world-class quality processes.
