As a Product Owner (Technical), you will own the complete lifecycle of your product area—from conception through launch, growth, and maintenance. You'll be responsible for setting your team's goals, success metrics, and roadmap aligned with Revolut's mission. Your day-to-day work includes driving maximum impact based on data analysis and market research, having technical discussions with engineers about approaches and requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders including Financial Crime, Legal, and Security teams.
You will directly manage Engineering, Operations, and Design team members, making you accountable for their output and success. You'll communicate regularly with senior management, serve as the go-to person for your product area, and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and hands-on execution. This role requires someone who can turn complex problems into simple, scalable solutions and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience at a high-growth tech company or in banking/finance-related business areas (acquiring, payments, cryptocurrency, insurance, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience working on technical products (platforms, distributed systems, data science, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, etc.)
- 1+ year of experience managing people (direct management of Engineering, Operations, and/or Design team members)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- High analytical and technical acumen with solid business sense to guide ROI-based prioritization
- Experience formulating and driving a focused product vision and owning the narrative with leadership, customers, and partners
- Bias toward action and bootstrapping major projects; hands-on approach
- Experience developing and launching products from scratch
- Ability to provide insight and deliver measurable results for sophisticated products under ambiguous situations in a fast-paced environment
