Checkr is a data platform powering safe and fair decisions through AI verification. The company serves over 140,000 companies and millions of users across hiring, housing, transportation, childcare, and dating use cases. Major customers include Uber, Airbnb, DoorDash, Pennymac, and Anthropic. Checkr is recognized on the Forbes Cloud 100 2025 list and is a Y Combinator 2024 Breakthrough Company. As Product Operations Manager, you will lead end-to-end delivery of high-priority product programs across teams, from early access through general availability and post-launch follow-through. You will build integrated program plans defining scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, decision points, success measures, and escalation paths. You'll run quarterly and annual product planning cadences with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership, and define, track, and report on product KPIs, operational metrics, and SLAs alongside product managers, engineers, and data scientists. Key responsibilities include building agentic workflows and processes using tools like Claude Skills and Cowork to increase engineering velocity and launch quality, and owning cross-departmental initiatives without a single owner—such as internal tool rollouts and PRD templates—turning launch retros into better defaults. Checkr operates hub locations in Denver, San Francisco, Nashville, and Santiago, Chile. The role is hybrid with an expectation of 3+ days per week in office. In-office perks include lunch five times weekly, commuter stipend, and snacks/beverages. A relocation stipend may be available for those willing to relocate to a hub. **Requirements:** - 4+ years in product operations, technical program management, product management, or business operations, ideally at a technology company handling sensitive or regulated data - Track record of leading complex, cross-functional launches or multi-quarter programs from strategy through rollout and adoption - Experience building repeatable systems for roadmap, prioritization, and planning across product and engineering teams - Hands-on fluency with AI tools (e.g., Claude Skills, Cowork, Codex), plus strong written and verbal communication, including concise, decision-ready updates for senior stakeholders - Exceptional communicator who influences without authority across diverse stakeholders (Product, Eng, Legal, Security, GTM) and delivers concise, decision-ready executive updates - Familiarity with enterprise B2B SaaS, phased rollouts, or compliance-driven environments (FCRA, EEOC, GDPR, CCPA) is a plus - A-player mindset with strong bias for action: raises the bar, moves with urgency, stays resilient through ambiguity, takes ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes
