Ramp is building smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating how over $275B in annualized spend flows through 85,000+ companies. The company handles payment authorization, risk flagging, spend categorization, and financial close processes for ambitious businesses.
In this Product Operations role, you will own problem spaces end-to-end, from investigation through execution and measurement. You might investigate why customers abandon workflows, build AI tools that eliminate manual work, or help product teams launch new capabilities. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and customer-facing teams, combining analytical rigor with hands-on execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own customer and operational outcomes by taking responsibility for defined problems, establishing baselines, and driving improvements
- Identify underlying problems by combining customer conversations, operational observations, and data analysis to distinguish recurring causes from isolated symptoms
- Make clear recommendations using product sense and business acumen to size opportunities, compare tradeoffs, and guide product partners on where process changes, automation, or product investment will have the greatest impact
- Build and improve workflows by creating practical tools and automations, including AI-assisted solutions, that reduce repetitive work and improve reliability
- Validate outputs and measure whether people actually benefit from changes
- Lead across teams by defining metrics, establishing owners, resolving dependencies, communicating decisions, and keeping important work moving when the path is unclear
You will be assigned to a specific product area such as Bill Pay, Procurement, Travel, Spend Management, Intelligence, Risk, Growth, Accounting, or Mobile. The role requires in-person presence at the NYC HQ (near Madison Square Park) at least 2 days per week.
