Tennr is a healthtech company that automates the complex insurance referral and prior authorization workflows that currently bog down healthcare providers. The company uses proprietary models to handle the tedious paperwork required for patient referrals and provider reimbursement, enabling providers to focus on patient care. As Product Operations Associate, you will own day-to-day operations for one of Tennr's core products, serving as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, and the growing customer base. This is a high-ownership role on a fast-moving team where you'll directly shape product evolution and customer success. Key responsibilities include: prioritizing and tracking work to ensure nothing falls through the cracks; training and supporting a growing product support team as volume scales; helping customers maximize value by analyzing their data across dashboards and spreadsheets to identify gaps and opportunities; translating customer insights into product roadmap items and engineering tickets; executing detailed operational work hands-on when needed; and documenting processes to build scalable playbooks. You'll interface directly with customers to gather feedback, collaborate with Sales and Customer Experience teams on enablement materials, and work closely with Product and Engineering to prioritize what ships next. The role requires comfort with healthcare data, payer systems, and the ability to reason through unfamiliar problems independently. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in management consulting, high-growth startups, healthcare operations, or finance. You're relentlessly detail-oriented, comfortable in spreadsheets and messy data, and a self-starter who stays calm and resourceful when things get chaotic. Healthcare background, prior authorization experience, or familiarity with medical billing (HCPCS/J-codes, ICD-10) is a bonus. Tennr operates from a Hudson Square office (345 Hudson Street) with a 4-day/week in-office expectation. The company emphasizes impact, operational learning, and collaboration with a high-caliber team focused on reducing patient delays across the U.S. healthcare system.
