1Kosmos (BlockID) is a leader in identity verification and workforce identity solutions. The company verifies identity in real time across 190+ countries and 4,000+ document types, with identity proofing, liveness detection, and deepfake defenses. 1Kosmos holds FedRAMP High authorization, processes tens of millions of identity verifications annually, and supports over 2 billion authentications. As Product Marketing Manager, you will own the connective tissue between Product, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, Analyst Relations, and Demand Generation. This is a hands-on role requiring deep understanding of a technically complex product and the ability to translate that complexity into compelling commercial narratives. Key responsibilities include: **Positioning, Messaging, and Category Narrative**: Own 1Kosmos's messaging architecture from company narrative through product, persona, use case, partner, and vertical messaging. Translate technical differentiation into buyer-facing value for CISOs, IAM leaders, fraud and risk teams, security architects, HR leaders, and public-sector stakeholders. Build clear narratives for established offerings and emerging initiatives (KYE, KYA) without overstating maturity. Define and maintain ICPs, buyer personas, jobs-to-be-done, use-case maps, and proof points for Sales and Marketing. Shape category points of view around verified identity, continuous trust, deterministic identity signals, and reusable identity. **Strategic Deal and Sales Enablement**: Partner directly with Sales leadership on priority opportunities to sharpen narratives around customer architecture, pain points, and business impact. Turn recurring questions into reusable collateral. Build and maintain core field assets: executive decks, discovery guides, solution briefs, use-case narratives, battlecards, objection handling, demo storylines, ROI libraries, and one-pagers. Lead enablement for major launches with live sessions, recorded modules, and feedback loops. Use win/loss signals and deal reviews to continuously improve positioning. **Customer Evidence and Market Proof**: Build a repeatable customer-evidence program capturing measurable outcomes, deployment speed, fraud reduction, user experience improvements, and expansion stories. Partner with Customer Success to develop named case studies, video testimonials, references, and vertical-specific stories. Create a searchable proof library for rapid reuse across sales, analyst, partner, and campaign motions. Maintain discipline around substantiation—every metric and claim should be traceable to an approved source. **Competitive and Market Intelligence**: Own a living view of the identity, fraud, workforce, authentication, and emerging agent-security landscape. Translate competitor moves into specific guidance on where 1Kosmos wins and loses. Maintain competitive battlecards and trigger-based guidance for active sales conversations. Track category shifts, analyst research, standards activity, partner ecosystems, and adjacent technologies. **Vertical, Partner, and Campaign GTM**: Develop complete vertical narratives for priority markets (Healthcare, Retail, Financial Services, Federal/SLED, Higher Education, Enterprise Workforce). Connect each vertical narrative to concrete buyers, problems, workflows, proof points, competitors, and partners. Partner with Demand Generation and BDR leadership to turn product marketing into ABM, outbound, event, webinar, and digital campaign motions. Support partner go-to-market with better-together messaging, joint solution narratives, and co-marketing assets. **Product Launch, Packaging, and Commercial Readiness**: Own go-to-market planning for major launches from audience and positioning through enablement and post-launch learning. Partner with Product and Sales on packaging, pricing inputs, SKU clarity, and buyer-facing explanations of commercial options. Create launch tiers and a practical readiness process. Bring market and field feedback into product strategy and roadmap conversations. **Requirements**: - 7+ years of B2B product marketing experience, including meaningful time in a startup or high-growth environment where you personally executed the work and set direction - Strong domain fluency in identity, IAM, cybersecurity, fraud/risk, workforce security, or adjacent enterprise technology markets; direct identity-verification experience is valuable but not required - Track record of building positioning and messaging from the ground up, validating with customers and sellers, and pivoting when market evidence indicates misalignment - Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles where technical architecture, security, compliance, procurement, partners, and business value influence decisions - Evidence that your enablement changed seller behavior or commercial outcomes, not just that content was produced - Strong competitive instincts and ability to distinguish meaningful differentiation from feature-by-feature noise - Exceptional writing and editorial judgment; ability to translate technical discussions into CISO-ready stories, concise seller assets, analyst narratives, or partner briefs without losing accuracy - Comfort using modern AI-assisted research and content workflows (ChatGPT, Claude, similar tools) while verifying claims, protecting confidential information, and editing for clarity and human tone - High agency and strong prioritization; ability to separate strategic narrative problems from last-minute content requests and build systems that reduce repeat work - Comfort with ambiguity and speed; willingness to help build the playbook as it develops - Bachelor's degree in marketing or adjacent field - Eligible to work in the United States
