Adapt is building the platform for enterprise AI agents—infrastructure that connects AI models to company systems, data, people, and workflows. The company is hiring its first dedicated product marketer to make a deeply technical, rapidly evolving product clear and compelling to developers, technical leaders, enterprise buyers, and the open-source community. In this hands-on role, you will develop deep customer and market insight, define positioning and messaging, clarify segmentation and ideal customer profiles, build repeatable product launch processes, and drive open-source adoption. You will own the full product marketing function on a small team, working directly with the CEO, Product, Engineering, Sales, and customers. Key responsibilities include: - Building a continuous research practice across customers, prospects, developers, and the broader market; translating insights into recommendations for Product and leadership - Defining Adapt's category narrative, product positioning, audience-specific messages, and competitive framing - Clarifying users, buyers, companies, and use cases where Adapt delivers maximum value; helping prioritize audiences and opportunities - Creating repeatable launch processes with Product and Engineering; translating capabilities into clear stories, demonstrations, and distribution plans - Partnering with Engineering on open-source product marketing: release communication, documentation, GitHub presence, community feedback, and the path from open-source usage to enterprise adoption - Developing customer stories, demonstrations, proof points, and evidence of business impact - Creating sales enablement materials, competitive positioning, and messaging frameworks You should be equally comfortable interviewing developers, shaping product narratives, writing launch copy, creating sales narratives, and measuring message effectiveness. This is a strategic and tactical role that requires technical fluency, customer empathy, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
