Fal is a generative media ecosystem providing infrastructure, tools, and model access for teams building AI products at scale. The platform unifies high-performance inference, orchestration, and observability to make generative media practical for developers and enterprises.
As Product Marketer for the Developer Platform, you will own go-to-market strategy and execution for fal's suite of developer tools: Model APIs (1,500+ generative media models), fal Agent (AI-powered creation), fal CLI (terminal-based building), and future products. You sit at the intersection of product, developers, creators, and community—translating technical capabilities into compelling narratives that drive adoption.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy for the developer platform
- Lead product launches for new models, features, APIs, and developer tools
- Drive awareness and adoption through social media, content, demos, partnerships, and community engagement
- Create compelling demos, tutorials, guides, workflows, and use cases that showcase platform capabilities
- Build a distinctive product voice across X, LinkedIn, YouTube, developer communities, and emerging channels
- Partner with Creative Engineering to identify trends and rapidly prototype demos
- Develop customer and developer stories highlighting what teams are building on fal
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to bring market and community insights into roadmap decisions
- Work with Growth on SEO/AEO, lifecycle, and product-led growth strategies
- Build relationships with developers, creators, startups, and ecosystem partners to make fal a must-try platform
You'll be comfortable with hands-on execution—writing launch posts, building demos, publishing technical guides—and have a bias toward shipping, experimentation, and measurable growth.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of AI models, APIs, developer tools, and the generative media ecosystem
- Technical proficiency: able to use APIs, experiment with models, and work closely with engineers
- Exceptional product storytelling ability; can turn a new API, model, or feature into something people immediately want to try
- Strong instincts for social, content, demos, developer marketing, and community-led growth
- Deep familiarity with how developers and creators discover and share new AI products
- Comfortable creating content yourself: launch posts, demos, technical guides
- Strong product instincts and curiosity about how developers actually use products
- Bias toward shipping, experimentation, and measurable growth
