This Product Manager role owns the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for U.S. equities margin trading, short selling, and options trading. You will define product requirements and drive cross-functional delivery across Engineering, Risk, Trading, Operations, Compliance, and Clearing Brokers. Key responsibilities include designing margin, buying power, risk control, and liquidation workflows that balance user experience, regulatory requirements, and platform risk. You will collaborate with clearing brokers and upstream providers to integrate financing, securities lending, option clearing, and settlement capabilities, and coordinate with Legal and Compliance to ensure products comply with regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions.
Required qualifications include 4+ years of fintech product experience with 2+ years specifically on U.S. equities brokerage products. You must have deep expertise in either client-facing areas (market data, markets & discovery, stock-level content) or trading back-end (trading, accounts, clearing & settlement), plus working knowledge of the other with willingness to ramp up quickly. You need deep understanding of U.S. equities trading, settlement, and clearing; solid grasp of U.S. market data, financial statements, valuation metrics, and how corporate actions affect accounts and positions. Strong PRD craft skills are essential—field-level definitions, calculation formulas, state machines, and complete edge-case coverage. Fluent written and spoken English required. The ideal candidate is responsive, self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to deliver high quality within an established framework.
