Emburse is an AI-powered expense intelligence platform serving 12M+ users across 120 countries. The company helps organizations modernize financial operations, increase visibility, and optimize spend across the enterprise. As Product Manager for Travel, you will own the vision and delivery of analytics and reporting products focused on corporate travel and expense management. You will partner with engineering, design, data/analytics, account management, and marketing teams to translate customer needs into clear requirements, prioritized roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. Key responsibilities include: • Own features across the entire product lifecycle—from concept through launch—driving development with full engineering and design teams. • Collaborate on building business cases, defining product vision and strategy, and actively participating in roadmap planning. • Internalize customer pain points (Procurement, Finance, Travel Manager, CSM personas) to create clear product specs, user stories, and UAT scripts. • Enforce release acceptance with a buyer lens; manage the prioritized feature backlog and bug process; continuously test, iterate, and drive features to launch. • Partner with Product Marketing and Customer Success to ensure new features are well-positioned, adopted, and supported. • Partner with Engineering to prioritize automated regression tests, data contracts, and system monitoring; proactively expand test coverage based on risk. • Define comprehensive metric specifications, strict guardrails (variance bands, freshness SLAs, null/duplicate thresholds), and a clear team Definition of Done. • Identify key product success metrics and track post-launch performance using product analytics and user feedback. • Maintain proactive communication regarding project status, milestones, and timelines with internal and external stakeholders. • Publish customer-grade documentation—metric definitions, data lineage/caveats, release notes—in partnership with Technical Writing. • Test, gather insights, and refine features post-release to drive ongoing user adoption and platform value. You will work across global time zones with stakeholders in North America, Europe, and beyond. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). • 6–10 years of experience in product, analytics, or data-quality roles, with proven track record of shipping customer-facing analytics and reporting products. • Deep familiarity with corporate travel and T&E data workflows, including GDS, OBT, TMC data flows, GL mapping, rate/tax handling, and PNR nuances. • Demonstrated experience defining and enforcing a clear Definition of Done, with discipline to hold a strict "no-go" release stance when data guardrails fail. • Working SQL and BI literacy (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) to validate complex dashboards against source systems; advanced Excel fluency and Microsoft Office proficiency. • Preferred: ability to craft crisp product requirements, acceptance criteria, high-signal bug/issue reports, and buyer-centric UAT scripts. • Strong curiosity and customer empathy to frame problems from end-user perspective; skill to separate signal from noise for high-impact decisions. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence Engineering, CSM, and Tech Writing teams; clear storytelling to executives and buyers. • Strong bias to action combined with high standards, keen attention to detail, and confidence to hold releases until data integrity is verified. • Exceptional ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, managing multiple high-priority complex projects simultaneously. • Solid understanding of modern team productivity tools, techniques, and cross-functional processes. Note: Emburse is not able to offer sponsorship now or in the future.
