Translucent is an agentic AI platform built exclusively for healthcare finance, founded in 2024 and backed by GV, NEA, FPV, and Virtue. The company is deployed by healthcare organizations managing over $5 billion in combined revenue, solving a critical problem: healthcare finance teams spend more time finding and cleaning data than making decisions, despite operating on razor-thin 2–5% margins. You'll own one or more products within a core vertical (Revenue Intelligence, Physician Enterprise, Pharmacy, etc.), responsible end-to-end from problem definition through shipped software, onboarding, and measured usage. This is a hands-on role with minimal layers between you and customers using your product. Key responsibilities include: partnering with customers on discovery sessions; writing specs engineers can build from; prototyping before requesting builds; running onboarding and training with healthcare finance and operations users; owning product metrics (activation, weekly usage by persona, dollars recovered); defining autonomous vs. human-in-the-loop AI agent behavior with AI Engineering; building on shared platform capabilities rather than one-off logic; managing intake and triage in Linear against SLAs; collaborating with Design on edge cases and error states; and communicating clearly across technical and non-technical audiences. You bring 5–8 years of B2B/enterprise SaaS product experience with a track record of shipping data-heavy, workflow-driven products (analytics, financial, or AI-powered) and driving high customer usage. You write SQL, work comfortably with datasets and data models, and can take abstract concepts to working prototypes quickly. You're hands-on with AI tooling daily and have healthcare finance or operations exposure—or genuine appetite to learn the domain fast with internal SME support. You're action-biased, comfortable wearing multiple hats (mocks, copy, QA, customer training), and thrive in startup environments where priorities shift and you jump into unfamiliar areas when needed. The role is full-time, in-office 4 days per week at Union Square, New York City.
