Kikoff is a profitable, pre-IPO fintech company on a mission to empower everyone to achieve financial security. With record revenue growth in 2025 and a unicorn valuation, the company has built a suite of products helping millions of people build credit, access liquidity, and save money.
This Product Manager role focuses on retention and monetization for Kikoff's core credit products. You will own the complete post-signup member journey: why members stay, why they leave, and what they choose to pay for. Your responsibilities include owning the retention and monetization roadmap covering churn, reactivation, plan upgrades, pricing and packaging. You will be measured on retained paying members and revenue per member.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze data and conduct user research to identify engagement drivers, churn factors, and willingness to pay
- Design and experiment with retention and engagement loops using product, communications, and alert touchpoints
- Own revenue-per-member levers: pricing, packaging, plan upgrades, paywalls, and cross-sell opportunities
- Develop cancellation, save, and win-back flows that reduce churn while maintaining member trust
- Generate strategic insights using retention, LTV, and revenue data to shape engineering, design, and marketing roadmaps
- Create member segments by value, risk, and intent with tailored offers and content
- Partner with legal and compliance to ensure pricing, disclosures, and cancellation experiences meet consumer-protection standards
- Champion products internally and with consumers
You will work in a fast-moving, fast-growing environment with serial entrepreneurs who value extreme ownership, clear communication, and craftsmanship. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite in San Francisco) with full benefits including equity (RSUs), medical/dental/vision coverage, 20 days PTO, and 401(k) matching.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working on successful digital consumer products, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
- Owned a retention, lifecycle, growth, or monetization metric and moved it through experimentation
- Excellent writing and communication skills for both user and internal audiences
- Extremely data-driven with comfort in cohort analysis, LTV, and unit economics; ability to pull data yourself is a strong plus
- Experience with pricing, subscriptions, paywalls, or upgrade flows is a plus
- Empathy for consumers and passion for solving consumer problems innovatively
- Comfort wearing multiple hats: marketer, researcher, designer, analyst
- Interest in and/or history with modern consumer financial tools and products
- Technical background (SQL, code reading) is a big plus
- Strategic thinking, first-principles problem-solving, and commercial instinct focused on retained users and revenue
