You will partner with the Director to shape the analytics roadmap and independently lead initiatives from discovery through delivery and adoption. Your work will support critical business decisions across the product lifecycle, including product cost and margin, assortment strategy, planning, distribution, and inventory management.
Key responsibilities include:

- Lead discovery efforts to understand how teams make decisions and identify friction points. Determine whether solutions should be reporting, improved data, automation, or workflow changes.
- Prioritize requests based on business impact, urgency, effort, and dependencies. Recommend what to pursue, defer, or stop, and secure alignment when needs compete.
- Translate business questions and operational workflows into clear requirements, metric definitions, data needs, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive delivery with the scrum team by owning the product backlog and partnering with engineers and reporting developers on sprint planning and scope decisions.
- Establish reliable data and consistent definitions by connecting product, assortment, planning, sales, inventory, purchase order, and ERP data across teams.
- Lead validation, rollout, and adoption by coordinating business testing and ensuring teams understand how to use new solutions.
- Own outcomes after launch by using adoption metrics, business feedback, and success measures to assess impact and guide improvements.
- Manage cross-team dependencies with other analytics pods and business systems teams to avoid conflicting solutions.
- Identify opportunities for AI-enabled insights and workflow automation, prototyping and validating ideas with Engineering and Data Science teams.
- Keep stakeholders informed and decisions moving by communicating priorities, progress, tradeoffs, and risks clearly.
You will work directly with business leaders, analytics leads, engineers, and reporting developers, supporting Product Development, Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, Wholesale, and Supply Chain functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, analytics, BI, or a senior analyst role, ideally supporting product, merchandising, planning, wholesale, or supply chain functions.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills; ability to lead discussions with senior leaders and turn competing needs into aligned outcomes.
- Very strong written and verbal communication, with ability to translate between business and technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of retail and product lifecycle analytics, including assortment, seasonality, product cost, margin, sell-through, inventory productivity, and demand and supply planning. DTC, apparel, retail, or branded consumer goods experience strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with a data semantic layer or modern BI platform such as MicroStrategy, Looker, Power BI semantic models, dbt Semantic Layer, Cube, or equivalent.
- Ability to translate business processes into data and analytics requirements, including metric design, data grain, hierarchies, relationships, data quality, edge cases, and versioning.
- Experience building analytics products for both leadership and operational users, with understanding of how to drive adoption and turn data into decisions.
- Awareness of AI applications in analytics, including automated insights, semantic search, natural language to SQL, and workflow automation, with willingness to prototype and experiment.
