As Product Manager for Perimeter & Intrusion Security, you will own the core product strategy and execution for Verkada's intrusion detection and alarm management solutions. This is a high-impact role where you'll redefine how enterprises manage perimeter security at scale—from initial configuration through day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the end-to-end product roadmap for perimeter and intrusion security, driving market share growth and customer satisfaction
- Building enterprise-scale features for managing security systems across hundreds of global locations
- Designing modern, frictionless workflows for arming/disarming security systems, leveraging AI to improve user experience
- Developing AI-powered systems that fuse camera and sensor data to reduce false alarms while maintaining security effectiveness
- Creating innovative enterprise reporting capabilities for real-time and post-incident analysis
- Working cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, and third-party partners
You'll bring 5-8+ years of B2B product management experience, ideally with exposure to IoT, RF, location technologies, or low-power/long-range devices. A background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar quantitative field is expected. Strong skills in user experience design, operational workflow optimization, and simplifying complex technical concepts are critical. This role requires deep craftsmanship, attention to product detail, and a passion for solving real customer problems in enterprise security.
