Flutterwave is a pan-African payments infrastructure company enabling consumers and businesses to make and receive payments across borders. This Product Manager role owns the complete product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle management for Flutterwave's Smart POS terminal ecosystem—spanning Android, Linux, and Mini POS hardware form factors (HorizonPay K11/T50/H70, Newland N90). You will serve as the commercial control point bridging merchant needs, business requirements, and engineering execution.
Key responsibilities include: (1) defining and driving the POS product roadmap across physical channels, synthesizing customer feedback and market dynamics to build competitive solutions (card, PWBT, QR, loans, agency banking); (2) enforcing strict feature parity between legacy and revamped app builds, ensuring core functionalities like unified EOD reporting, dispute handling, and offline sync are fully tested before production; (3) managing terminal lifecycle and OEM partnerships, overseeing firmware/app deployments, Remote Key Injection, Terminal Management System updates, and OTA strategies while ensuring PCI-PTS and regulatory compliance; (4) coordinating cross-functional launches with Sales, Operations, and Customer Success, defining commercial pricing rule engines and transaction mapping logic; (5) monitoring product performance metrics including transaction success rates, app stability, and active terminal ratios in partnership with the MIS unit.
This is not a feature-shipping role but rather a disciplined, end-to-end ownership function requiring rigor, structure, and strong cross-functional discipline to guarantee high transaction success rates, swift issue resolution, and optimal merchant satisfaction. You will work with strategic merchant portfolios and scale processing volumes across the physical channels business.
