Salary: USD 193,000 - 210,000 / annual

Rundoo is a venture-backed SaaS platform modernizing supply chain and operations for independent building materials retailers—hardware stores, nurseries, farm & feed shops, and similar mom-and-pop operations. The company has raised $18M from top-tier investors (Bessemer, CRV) and serves over 200,000 stores selling $1T+ annually using legacy on-premises systems. As Product Manager for New Industries, you will own the end-to-end expansion into new verticals (lumber, flooring, plumbing, auto, and others). Your responsibilities include: • Market Research & Sizing: Define the ideal customer profile (ICP) for a new industry, quantify market opportunity, and validate demand through direct customer conversations in their stores. • Customer Discovery: Spend significant time in the field talking to store owners and operators to understand pain points, workflows, and what matters most to them. In-person research is non-negotiable. • Product Roadmap: Translate field insights into a concrete, sequenced feature plan in collaboration with the engineering team. Define what Rundoo must build to win in your chosen vertical. • Pilot Launch: Identify and close 5+ pilot customers to prove product-market fit and validate your GTM hypothesis. • Go-to-Market Strategy: Map channels, partnerships, events, and sales motions specific to your industry. You will report directly to CEO Nick Hershey (ex-Google PM, ex-Bridgewater trader) and work closely with CTO Andrew Beckman (ex-Apple engineering lead) and a peer PM hired for a different vertical. This is a brand-new role at an early-stage, high-growth company with strong founder pedigree and investor backing. The role requires 2+ years in consulting, banking, or equivalent analytical/communication-heavy work. You must be based in the SF Bay Area and comfortable working from the office 4 days per week. Success requires curiosity about traditional industries, comfort with cold outreach and rejection, and the ability to synthesize messy research into clear, defensible strategies.
