Perplexity AI is seeking a Product Manager for Mobile Apps to lead the end-to-end native mobile experience across iOS and Android. The role focuses on bringing agentic AI and search capabilities into users' everyday lives through intuitive, fast, and dependable mobile experiences.
You will own the complete mobile product strategy, including user discovery and onboarding, search and action capabilities, voice and camera integration, notifications, widgets, subscription management, and cross-device continuity. The position requires identifying high-leverage mobile user problems, translating them into clear product direction, and partnering closely with design, engineering, data science, and research teams.
Key responsibilities include anticipating innovation opportunities in mobile AI usage, envisioning long-term experiences across platforms, understanding mobile product-led growth and retention levers, and making complex AI behavior understandable on small screens. You'll develop deep user empathy through direct product use, qualitative research, product data analysis, and experimentation. The role demands strong product judgment, analytical rigor, fluency in mobile platform constraints and opportunities, and exceptional attention to detail.
You'll drive alignment across iOS, Android, web, backend systems, and multiple teams while communicating product decisions, tradeoffs, and learnings clearly to leadership. This is an opportunity to shape how millions of people interact with AI on mobile devices at a rapidly scaling company.
Required qualifications include 4+ years of product management experience, strong background shipping and scaling high-quality consumer mobile products, deep understanding of native mobile interaction patterns and platform capabilities, experience with rapid prototyping and experimentation, and data-driven product development.
