Ditto is a peer-to-peer data synchronization platform enabling developers to build resilient, real-time applications that work offline. The company has raised $145M+ and is trusted by organizations including Chick-fil-A, Delta Airlines, and the U.S. military across aviation, retail, travel, hospitality, and defense sectors.
MaintainOps is Ditto's new maintenance management (CMMS) product, currently in private beta, built on the core platform. It provides maintenance teams with work orders, preventive maintenance scheduling, asset management, parts and inventory tracking, procedures, and request portals in native mobile and web apps that function without internet connectivity. This is a key growth bet for the company.
As Product Manager for MaintainOps, you will own the product end-to-end as it transitions from private beta to a broadly available, self-serve offering. You will report to senior product leadership and the CEO, partnering across engineering, sales, and marketing to define what gets built, how it reaches market, and how to win customers from incumbent CMMS vendors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the MaintainOps roadmap and backlog, prioritizing work that drives adoption and revenue
- Conducting extensive customer research with technicians, maintenance supervisors, facility managers, and operations leaders to understand field workflows and translate them into product requirements
- Leading the product through beta and general availability phases, defining launch criteria, managing beta feedback loops, and determining release timing
- Partnering with engineering on scope and tradeoffs for core CMMS workflows: work orders, preventive maintenance, assets, parts/inventory, procedures, requests, and reporting
- Collaborating with leadership, marketing, and sales on positioning, pricing, packaging, onboarding, and self-serve conversion strategy
- Designing the migration and switching experience to enable teams to transition from legacy CMMS platforms smoothly
- Defining and tracking success metrics across activation, engagement, conversion, and retention
- Building deep market knowledge of the CMMS landscape and competitive positioning to sharpen differentiation
- Representing customer and field feedback internally to influence platform-level priorities that MaintainOps depends on
This is a builder role for someone who wants to take a new product from early traction to scale.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of Product Management experience, or equivalent experience as a founder or early startup team member
- Strong understanding of the CMMS, EAM, or field service space, OR deep experience with and empathy for frontline and deskless workers (maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, retail operations, or similar)
- Startup mentality: high ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and passion for shipping early-stage products to real customer adoption
- Strong communication skills with ability to write crisp requirements and keep engineering, sales, and marketing aligned
- Comfort working directly with customers across all levels (technicians to operations leaders) and translating feedback into clear priorities
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for on-site customer visits and quarterly company meetups
- US-based and authorized to work in the United States
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience with product-led growth, self-serve onboarding, freemium/trial conversion, or pricing and packaging
- Technical fluency for working with engineers on mobile, web, and data tradeoffs
- Experience with compliance or audit requirements in regulated maintenance environments
- Experience working in remote, globally distributed teams
