Cast AI is an automation platform that operates cloud-native and AI infrastructure at scale, embedding autonomous decision-making directly into Kubernetes and cloud environments. The company recently achieved unicorn status (valuation >$1B) with strategic investment from Pacific Alliance Ventures in January 2026.
Kimchi, a division within Cast AI, is building products at the frontier of how engineering organizations adopt and operate AI—spanning AI coding and agents, inference, model orchestration, governance, and the infrastructure supporting all of it at scale. This is a highly dynamic space where customer expectations, technology capabilities, competitors, and problem definitions are changing rapidly.
You will serve as a Senior Product Manager in a greenfield environment, expected to work before problems are well-defined. Rather than inheriting a neat backlog, you'll explore emerging problem spaces, talk to customers, understand technology shifts, connect weak signals, form hypotheses, and decide which problems are important enough for Kimchi to solve. A large part of the role is turning ambiguity into clarity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify problems worth solving by exploring customer needs, usage data, technology shifts, competitive products, and market signals
- Turn ambiguity into product direction by structuring unclear opportunities into clear problems, hypotheses, assumptions, and experiments
- Lead 0→1 product development from insight through discovery, validation, launch, and iteration
- Validate before scaling—find the fastest way to test whether a problem matters and whether proposed solutions create meaningful value
- Make hard prioritization decisions about what deserves attention now, what can wait, and what should not be built
- Work directly with customers through discovery, observation, and understanding underlying motivations and constraints
- Partner deeply with engineering and design to shape solutions collaboratively
- Define success metrics and use evidence to guide decisions
- Drive adoption post-launch by understanding customer discovery, usage, and value realization
- Communicate clearly through product narratives, one-pagers, PRDs, and decision documents (distributed team requires exceptional writing)
- Help shape Kimchi's product strategy and organizational thinking
You'll work closely with engineering, design, customers, and GTM teams to move promising opportunities from initial insight through validation and adoption.
Cast AI operates across 34 countries with a global team spanning Europe, North America, Latin America, and APAC. The company serves over 2,100 customers including Akamai, BMW, Cisco, FICO, HuggingFace, NielsenIQ, Swisscom, and TGS.
Benefits include competitive salary, equity options, flexible remote-first environment, 10% time for personal projects, learning budget, annual hackathon, team-building budget, equipment budget, and extra days off.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Significant experience owning software products end-to-end with judgment and independence expected from a Senior Product Manager
- Strong 0→1 experience: personally taken products or significant product areas from unclear opportunity through discovery, validation, launch, and iteration
- Track record of navigating ambiguity with examples where neither problem nor solution was obvious at the beginning
- Excellent problem selection and product judgment—deliberate about deciding which problems are worth solving
- Experience working in greenfield, rapidly changing, or emerging domains where information is incomplete and plans frequently change
- Strong customer discovery skills to uncover underlying problems, context, and behavior beyond what customers explicitly ask for
- Strong analytical thinking combining qualitative evidence, product data, market signals, and technical constraints
- Strong written and verbal communication able to simplify complex topics without oversimplifying underlying problems
- Experience working closely with highly technical engineering teams with enough technical curiosity to understand systems being built
- Bias toward experimentation and learning rather than large upfront plans
- Comfort making decisions with imperfect information and changing mind when new evidence emerges
- Hands-on use of modern AI tools in own work, actively exploring how LLMs and agents change both products and product work itself
Desirable experience:
- Developer tools or products built for software engineers
- AI/ML products, LLM infrastructure, AI agents, or AI-powered developer tools
- Infrastructure, platforms, APIs, or technically complex B2B products
- Products where primary challenge was discovering product-market fit
- Early-stage startups or new product initiatives inside larger companies
- Enterprise products with direct customer access during discovery and development
