Jerry is a fintech platform transforming how people manage their most important assets—cars and homes. Starting with car insurance in 2019, Jerry has grown to 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, and achieved profitability in early 2024. The company operates as a marketplace connecting customers with 100+ insurance carriers, with 60% of policies sold automatically and 90% of inquiries resolved via AI. The Growth team owns the entire customer acquisition and purchase funnel for Jerry's core car insurance product. As a Product Manager on this team, you'll drive how millions of people discover, evaluate, and become Jerry customers. The role reports directly to the VP of Growth with visibility to the C-suite. In Phase 1 (first few months), you'll develop deep expertise in funnel performance through structured product walkthroughs, user journey mapping, and friction identification. You'll synthesize customer feedback from reviews, support tickets, and research into actionable insights. You'll also own bug triage and quality prioritization with engineering. In Phase 2, you'll lead end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, starting with well-scoped launches like landing pages and compliance features, then expanding scope. You'll contribute to A/B testing and experiment design, partner with Design and Engineering to ship balanced experiences, and translate customer problems into clear hypotheses and requirements. The Growth team is small (3 PMs total) with significant surface area, requiring scrappy execution but offering substantial ownership and scope. Jerry runs weekly sprints with a fast-shipping culture—products that take 6-12 months elsewhere launch in 1-2 months here. The engineering team is partly based in China, requiring 3-4 hours of daily overlap with China business hours (non-negotiable constraint). You should be a structured problem solver comfortable with ambiguity, diligent in follow-through, intrinsically curious about customer psychology, and a strong communicator across functions and time zones. You'll bring 2+ years in management consulting, product management, or product/business operations, strong analytical skills, a track record of owning ambiguous problems, and excellent written/verbal communication.
