AlphaSense is an AI-powered market intelligence platform trusted by thousands of leading organizations. The platform combines domain-specific AI with over 500 million premium business documents—equity research, earnings calls, expert interviews, filings, news, and proprietary content—to help financial professionals extract insights, uncover trends, and automate workflows.
The Financial Data team is responsible for sourcing, integrating, and surfacing structured datasets that power the platform's market intelligence capabilities. You will own and define the next generation of financial data offerings, with specific emphasis on Private Markets, including Shareholder and Deals content.
In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of vast financial datasets and end-users' core research and diligence workflows. You will drive the roadmap for how users discover, evaluate, and act on Private Markets content, defining the content strategy and feature set that makes this content indispensable for financial professionals. This includes identifying and closing content gaps, and driving adoption and usage across the client base.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute short- and mid-term roadmaps for private markets, shareholder, and deals content, aligned with business objectives and client needs
- Build deep understanding of client personas (analysts, bankers, corporate development professionals) and their diligence, deal-sourcing, and ownership-analysis use cases
- Continuously assess content gaps and prioritize sourcing and coverage improvements
- Write and prioritize product requirements (PRDs) informed by customer discovery and client feedback, focused on content coverage, data quality, and discoverability
- Work with core data platform teams to ensure seamless data delivery, sourcing pipeline performance, and reliability
- Identify and conduct QA strategies for content coverage, accuracy, and completeness
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and GTM teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption
- Partner closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define requirements and lead feature development
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience building SaaS products in partnership with engineering and scrum teams
- Experienced in financial data and search products
- Clear, persuasive communicator who creates PRDs, roadmaps, and requirements that align stakeholders and drive execution
- Organized and detail-oriented with proven ability to manage complex product backlogs and deliver features end-to-end
- Strategic thinker with discovery mindset, deeply curious about client workflows and pain points, especially those of financial analysts, investment bankers, and corporate development/deal teams
- Familiarity with AI-powered search or workflow technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field required
