Salary: USD 232,000 - 290,000 / annual
Decagon is a conversational AI platform enabling enterprises to deploy AI agents for customer support and operations across voice, chat, email, SMS, and other channels. Customers include Avis Budget Group, Block (Cash App/Square), Chime, Oura Health, and Hunter Douglas.
As a founding Product Manager on the platform team, you will own the enterprise agent deployment experience—the least solved problem in enterprise AI. This includes integrations, connections, headless and SDK deployment, external APIs, developer experience, channel expansion, and partnerships. Your work directly enables customers to wire AI agents into complex legacy systems while navigating enterprise security and compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for developer experience, integrations, channels, and enterprise readiness
- Decide what to build natively, make self-serve, or open for customer/partner extension
- Partner with infrastructure and security teams on data handling, retention, and residency
- Drive channel and partner expansion with go-to-market and business development teams
- Own initiatives end-to-end from discovery through launch and adoption
Required background:
- 6+ years of relevant experience (product management, founding, engineering, research)
- Experience building integrations, API platforms, or developer-facing products for engineer users
- Track record shipping products with complex long-tail requirements (many systems, inconsistent APIs, no clean abstractions)
- Deep understanding of enterprise deployment requirements: security review, data handling, compliance, deployment constraints
- Strong technical acumen with APIs, authentication, and deployment models
- Comfort engaging enterprise customers on technical evaluations and security reviews
- Proven ability to ship features that moved real metrics in fast-paced environments
Preferred qualifications:
- CS, Engineering, or Math degree (or equivalent)
- Experience with iPaaS, API platforms, SDKs, RPA, or browser automation
- Data privacy and residency expertise (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI)
- Background in regulated industries (fintech, healthcare)
- Experience with headless, single-tenant, or on-premise deployments
- Partner or marketplace ecosystem building/scaling experience
- Startup or high-growth company background
