As Product Manager for the Discover squad, you will own the upper funnel of the passenger acquisition journey. Your mission is to capture global traffic through SEO and emerging LLM-based search capabilities, ensuring a seamless experience when passengers land on the platform. You will build a vision that maximizes conversion from all acquisition channels, prioritizing high-impact projects across core markets.
You will co-lead the Discover squad alongside an Engineering Manager, overseeing a team of 6 front-end engineers. The squad is part of the Demand pillar, which owns the end-to-end passenger experience alongside Search, Booking, Payment, and Post-booking teams. You will collaborate closely with Product Marketing, SEO and Digital Marketing Managers, Product Data, Product Design, and Business leads.
Key responsibilities include: (1) Shaping the Discover strategy and roadmap by defining the product and engineering vision with appropriate KPIs; (2) Driving top-funnel acquisition by partnering with Marketing and SEO teams to adapt architecture for the AI era, ensuring inventory is crawlable by LLMs and AI agents; (3) Maximizing landing page conversion through strategy optimization and A/B testing to drive Land-to-Book conversion targets; (4) Navigating cross-functional alignment as the go-to product person for all Discover topics, communicating strategy and ensuring alignment across teams; (5) Managing the Busfor platform, a standalone brand acquired by BlaBlaCar operating in Eastern Europe.
Required qualifications: 3+ years of Product Management experience (top-of-funnel acquisition, growth, or SEO experience preferred); highly analytical with proven track record using A/B testing to drive conversion improvements; strong interpersonal skills to navigate cross-functional relationships and communicate prioritization decisions; full fluency in English mandatory.
