Salary: USD 175,000 - 195,000 / annual
SpotOn is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own the Merchant Dashboard—the central hub where independent restaurant operators manage their business within SpotOn's software suite. This role is responsible for defining product strategy, managing the roadmap, and shaping how merchants navigate, configure, monitor, and grow their operations across the platform.
The Dashboard serves as the primary entry point into SpotOn's ecosystem, surfacing settings, reports, alerts, insights, and growth opportunities. You will define the information architecture, interaction patterns, personalization strategies, and monetization surfaces that power daily operator workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining product strategy for SpotOn's restaurant software suite and owning the Dashboard roadmap
- Making data-informed trade-offs based on customer needs, market dynamics, and business priorities
- Collaborating with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data Science, and GTM teams to deliver impactful solutions
- Analyzing market trends, customer feedback, and competitive offerings to identify differentiation opportunities
- Leading experimentation cycles and using data to guide product decisions
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Developing product positioning in collaboration with product marketing
Required qualifications include 4+ years of product management experience (preferably in restaurant or hospitality software), deep understanding of the product development lifecycle, technical fluency with ability to engage engineers and discuss systems architecture, metrics-driven decision-making, exceptional communication skills, and customer empathy. Hands-on restaurant or hospitality experience is a significant plus.
The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the Austin office. Compensation includes a base salary range of $175,000–$195,000, company stock plan, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, RSUs, paid vacation and sick time, employee resource groups, monthly stipends for cell phone and internet, and tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 annually.
