Anthropic is seeking a Product Manager to lead its cybersecurity product portfolio. Claude, Anthropic's AI system, has demonstrated strong capabilities in security work—finding and fixing vulnerabilities in real codebases, triaging alerts, and reasoning about attacker movement through systems. The company shipped its first security product (Claude Security) this year and is expanding this offering. In this role, you will set the strategy for Anthropic's cybersecurity products, decide what to build and where to partner, ship products, and serve as the company's voice with CISOs, security vendors, and researchers. The work spans both 0→1 product development (first-party products are months old) and scaling existing successes. Security is a cross-functional priority touching nearly every team. Key responsibilities include: setting the cybersecurity product portfolio strategy and owning results; shipping security products including vulnerability discovery and remediation capabilities; representing Anthropic externally to CISOs, vendors, researchers, governments, and press; partnering with research teams to identify model limitations and build improvement plans; collaborating with safeguards and policy on model access; and maintaining cross-functional momentum across research, engineering, sales, safeguards, policy, legal, and communications. You should have meaningful experience in security—whether building security products, running a security team, or performing application security, detection and response, vulnerability research, or offensive security work. You've built products or businesses from scratch and taken them to paying customers. You design for where AI models will be, not where they are today, treating model limitations as research targets with reliability bars. You have strong product judgment and enough technical depth to evaluate security findings. You communicate effectively with CISOs, researchers, and executives. Preferred qualifications include 12+ years of product-building experience (especially in security), fluency with AI products and model behavior, technical background or close collaboration with infrastructure teams, strong technical judgment on security and infrastructure topics, and structured thinking to break down complex compliance into shippable features. The role is hybrid with an expectation of at least 25% office time, though some roles may require more. Anthropic sponsors visas and will make reasonable efforts to support immigration needs.
