Raspberry AI is building an agentic platform that transforms how fashion and retail brands create and bring products to market. The company connects design, product development, merchandising, marketing, ecommerce, and wholesale teams in a unified AI-powered platform. Customers including SKIMS, Fabletics, Under Armour, Oscar de la Renta, Walmart, rag & bone, Kate Spade, and Savage x Fenty use Raspberry to move from concept to production-ready designs, assortments, campaigns, and sales materials in a fraction of traditional timelines. The company has raised $29M from a16z, Khosla Ventures, and Greycroft.
In this role, you will own the core design and generation experience—the heart of the product where designers move from initial ideas to production-ready concepts. This is the foundational wedge the entire company is built upon. You'll have deep ownership of the core generation and design workflow end-to-end, with a primary focus on activation: getting skeptical, non-technical fashion designers to experience genuine "magic" in their first session, repeatedly.
Your responsibilities include:
- Obsessing over the core generation and design workflow, defining what "good output" means for users
- Building evaluation habits and metrics to determine whether the product is genuinely improving
- Designing for trust so non-technical users understand when to rely on the model and perceive variability as graceful rather than broken
- Balancing the needs of everyday creatives and enterprise stakeholders (directors, decision-makers) when their priorities diverge
- Conducting tight discovery cycles—user interviews, competitive analysis, heavy dogfooding—often within the same week
- Shipping launches quickly based on insights
- Thinking systemically about how features touch the broader ecosystem
- Reasoning from first principles about job-to-be-done and the nature of generative media
You'll work in a high-ownership environment where you figure out what needs to happen, unblock yourself, and execute. This is an early-stage startup with thin resources and real constraints—conditions you'll navigate creatively and resiliently.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5 years of product management experience, having shipped meaningful products end-to-end with measurable outcomes
- Extremely high ownership mentality; you solve problems rather than escalate them
- Strong aesthetic sense and workflow empathy; ability to evaluate generated design concepts and articulate why some work and others don't
- Systems thinking; you see interconnections across features and flag ownership gaps
- First-principles reasoning; willing to challenge standard AI-product patterns when they don't serve users
- Fluency or fast-learning ability with probabilistic systems; comfort thinking in distributions and evaluations rather than single specifications
- Data-driven approach; ability to define clear product metrics, use quantitative and qualitative evidence, and work in tools like Amplitude
- Comfort with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for research, prototyping, and execution
- Resilience and creativity under real constraints
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Direct experience shipping generative-AI or ML-powered products
- Background in or genuine curiosity about fashion, design, or creative tools
- Experience with enterprise/B2B products where buyer and end-user are different personas
The company emphasizes hiring for trajectory over pedigree and encourages applications from candidates who may not check every box but are clearly wired for the role.
