You will own the end-to-end product experience for contractor management, combining software and human-powered services. Key responsibilities include building solutions autonomously with minimal senior support, developing product strategy and roadmaps aligned with company goals, shipping improvements iteratively, and collaborating across engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
The role requires strategic judgment on prioritization and tactical scope decisions, with accountability for complex product initiatives. You'll be a subject matter expert for your product area, contributing to scaling and growth plans while managing internal expectations on challenging projects. Success is measured by business KPIs and team throughput.
A unique aspect of this role is the expectation to use AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional prototypes and small code changes—not just write specifications. This reflects Remote's core value of innovation and automation.
You'll work asynchronously across a distributed team spanning six continents, reporting to a Group Product Manager. The role is fully remote with no geographic restrictions, though the posting targets UK & Ireland candidates.
